Sketch books, Photographs, and Watercolors

Talcott’s sketch books serve as a visual record of his travels and track his development as an artist. Also on view are several photographs and a caricature of Talcott done by his friend Edmund Edel while in Paris. Though Talcott painted primarily in oil, he was an accomplished watercolorist. Rounding out this exhibition are several examples of his work in this media.
