Sean Beavers earned a B.F.A. at The School of Visual Arts in New York City from which he graduated with The Rhodes family medal for outstanding achievement. He teaches drawing and painting at The New Hampshire Institute of Art and The University of New Hamphire. " When I study something in nature there is a connection or understanding that I can't describe, the beauty moves me. When I say beauty I don't mean sweet or sentimental. Nature can be quite harsh at times, but there is always balance in it, something melodic to offset dissonance.
